The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is delighted to advertise the opportunity of an End User Compute Senior Engineer in the Digital, Commercial and Information Directorate (DCID).

This is an exciting time to be joining DCID which brings together professional experts in digital technology, commercial services, security, information management and operational process transformation to deliver high quality services to the CPS. Our new mission is clear. We will build positive partnerships across the criminal justice system and with our colleagues, to implement innovative ways of working, reduce corporate risk, improve user experience, and enable colleagues to successfully deliver their business.

The Modern Workplace Team is a brand-new internal team created to support this mission through transforming End User Computing Services. We want to provide easy to use, secure and effective solutions which are built around the needs of our users helping to improve the prosecution process.

This role will be part of the End User Compute (EUC) Service which sits within the Digital Technology Services Directorate and is responsible for the performance and delivery of EUC infrastructure. It consists of technical teams that provide support, monitor and operate technical solutions.

You will have opportunities to develop your career further, including using your Individual Learning Account (ILA) to attend training courses and get the chance to shadow colleagues to gain different perspectives. You will be supported in your progression with access to various promotion opportunities.
