Our IT Trading Floor Services team provides effective 1st/2nd line technical support for both Financial Markets and the new Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) Trading Floor. They've built a reputation in delivering a customer-focused service through quickly troubleshooting and solving end user desktop issues. Supporting approximately 700 Trading Staff, the team is also responsible for all moves, changes and installations within the Trading Floor environment.

Working within this small group of seven engineers you'd work shifts to cover the core business hours of 06.30 - 18.30 with opportunities for paid overtime and convenient working hours.

 

Here's what you'll be doing.

You'll act as the first point of contact for all trading floor IT issues, aiming to resolve all desktop issues within one hour whilst delivering genuine customer satisfaction.

Working actually on the Floor you'd be working closely with other areas of Group IT to ensure incidents are resolved as quickly as possible and flag any problems that could affect multiple users across the bank.

 

About you;

Technically, you'll first have the broad desktop support knowledge, self-motivation and drive required for a first/ second line support role.

Secondly we're looking for previous Trading Floor experience due to the intense nature of this environment.

We'd also want you to have had exposure across a number of the following technologies;

Laptops using Windows 7/10 and MS Office 10/13

Remote access, mobile devices,

IPC Dealer Boards

Market data applications (Bloomberg, Refinitiv/Reuters Eikon, Refinitiv/Reuters FXT, EBS etc.)

Wey Technology remote desktop & switching kit.

 

You'll need to be equally comfortable working on your own initiative as well as part of a team with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to rectify issues quickly and effectively.

And we'll be testing your ability to build trusting relationships with Trading floor colleagues, demonstrate a high level of professionalism the desire to exceed the customers' expectations.
