General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time HR Assistant to join our HR Team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £18,640 to £23,300 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally. 

Joining an established team based at our Merthyr facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders, with the opportunity to develop and gain experience of a range of generalist HR activities and tasks. Including the on-boarding process for all personnel through the organization, supporting the Head of HR and HRBP's in providing a timely and high quality HR support service.

If you were already working in this position, this is what you would have been working on this week:

First point of contact to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues, or redirect as appropriate for more technical issues system tables, list of values, etc. for various systems

Provide administrative support to HRBP's and Resourcing Advisor.

Assist in onboarding process for new starters.

Responsible for entering and maintaining mass data changes

Support application data remediation and correct when necessary

Establish baseline reports and create new reports wherein required

When required assist in supporting the coverage of Reception.

Ensure data integrity

To apply for this role, you will require the following:

Knowledge of HR systems with experience of providing day-to-day HR Support and Administration.

CIPD Level 3 or equivalent.

Hands-on advanced Excel capability  - Desirable
