The Role: (Give overview of the role - example below)

As a programme manager you will be responsible for project benefits cases, planning and resource planning for all UKI People transformation initiatives. You will also be accountable in ensuring people projects have the right risk, issue, and dependency management actions in place.

By working closely with the people leadership team, you will ensure priorities are clearly understood, and articulated. Ensuring demands on the people function are planned, to support successful delivery of projects. You will actively make recommendations, and drives decision making.

You will provide a transparent and objective view for all stakeholders, with clear definitions of success, measures of key results, ongoing tracking through a governance framework. Quality Checking of all project management documentation to meet governance requirements and provide documented evidence and SMART feedback.

You will be responsible for actively seeking continuous improvement of people processes, technology, and capability, to help support the people strategy development. You lead by example in terms of work ethic and professional attitude.

Accountabilities: (Provide accountabilities required for the role - example below)

Budget tracking of key People initiatives.Supporting and coaching , people project managers, delivery leads and SMEs on Ways of Working and delivery best practice.Agree a communication plan for regularly reporting on the status of leadership development initiatives.Effectively utilising resources across the wider people team, as requiredEnsuring alignment, by designing and implementing project strategies that have clear interdependencies, scope, objectives, decision-making authorities (RACI).

Experience: (Give details of experience required to undertake the role - example below)

Proven track record of effectively operating in a leadership development role with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout a global organization.Experience of supporting the design and execution of a large and complex programme of work, that is driven by strategy, to accelerate its execution.Relevant experience in project management and budgeting.Outcome Focused, is able to own, plan and execute the people transformation roadmap and key decisionsExperience in designing and implementing a governance framework with a clear cadence of ceremonies, ensuring transparency across the programme with multiple projects and broad set of stakeholders.Strong working knowledge of the complexities or large globally distributed, multi-brand business and able to develop best practice and innovation in ways of working.Structured thinking and a clear ability to effectively shape stakeholder decision making, and able to effectively manage in a matrix organizationStrong communication, contracting and negotiation skills and a good ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Track record of contributing to successful teams and of building teams capable of sustaining high performance over time.
