As the UX researcher, you're responsible for planning, designing, and carrying out user research activities to ensure the team is taking a customer-centric approach to product design.

Your research will help inform the road map, end-to-end service design and the digital experiences created. Client DetailsMichael Page have teamed up with a Global Fast Food Chain to find a UX Researcher to join the in house team.DescriptionThe key responsibilities for the UX Researcher are:Define and design the research approach - You'll ensure we're using the suitable research methodologies and align the research activities to the problem the team is trying to solve. You'll get buy-in and agreement on the approach with the Lead UX/UI Designer, Product Manager and other team members. Plan and conduct research - You'll conduct research to gather customer insights and identify needs for both new and existing products. You'll plan out the work, from definition through to analysis and negotiate appropriate timelines with your agile team(s).Turn your findings into actionable insights - You'll analyse, synthesise and clearly present your findings in a way that makes it easy for your colleagues and stakeholders to understand and action. You'll make recommendations where appropriate and ensure the team are part of this process where neededDevelop early-stage concepts and other useful artefacts - You'll support the team in identifying and exploring potential solutions, including creating personas, journey maps, user flows, often collaborating with a UX Designer throughout. Participate within an agile team - You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams that make change happen, supporting where needed throughout the development cycle to influence product direction. Promote user centred design principles - You'll advocate for the use of human-centred design principles and promote best practice across the organisation.ProfileThe successful UX Researcher will: Has worked with leading eCommerce brands on complex design projects. A good understanding of agile practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), the typical roles within an agile

team and some knowledge of the technologies used to build and operate digital experiences. Experience in leading/ facilitating tactical quantitative and qualitative research projects end-to-end. Confident, persuasive, and concise writing skills. Strong understanding of UX best practice (such as Lean UX and Human Centred Design). Strong conceptualisation, visual, presentation and written communication abilities. Experience in eliciting feedback and collaborating with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders. Experience in using relevant research tools and platforms, such as usertesting.com, Optimal Workshop and Lookback. A degree or professional qualification in a related field such as Psychology, Social Research, or similar; or equivalent professional experience Working knowledge of design systems, interface patterns, component libraries, alongside creative, prototyping and design management tools.Job OfferOn offer is up to £38 700, an amazing benefits package and the opportunity to grow.
