Senior Software Engineer / Developer (C Linux Python) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a technologist Software Engineer with a good knowledge of what's happening at the lower level?

You could be progressing your career in a senior role and working on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges. You'll take ownership and collaborate with a friendly and upbeat team at a tech-for-tech software house; the core product is a highly complex, super-fast debugging tool sold into a broad client base including large technology companies, banks and finance organisations.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will work on key enhancements and new product features; you'll be using low level C on Linux as well as scripting in Python and will pick up other technologies as required.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process and the ability to work from home, post-covid social distancing you'd be expected in the Cambridge office at least once a week (more often if desired); parking available.

Requirements:

*You have strong C on Linux development experience

*You have experience with some or all of the following: Python automation, debugger or compiler internals, JITs, low-level Linux, Kernel development, x86, ARM

*You're able to take ownership and interact with clients if required

*You have the desire to work in a growing company and be involved with strategy / decision making as part of a team

*You're degree educated, 2.1 or above from a reputable university in a technical, numerate or scientific discipline (MSc / PhD advantageous but not required)
