At the heart of Savanta is a brilliant 30-strong Tech Team that maintains and develops our suite of insight products and end-to-end custom research platform, including survey programming, data collection, analysis and visualisation, insight and strategy. This is where we're on the lookout for talented mid-weight Software Developers with 2-4 years' commercial experience to join and enhance our team as soon as possible, particularly if you enjoy working on the front-end!

About the Role

Our evolving roadmap features some ambitious and exciting delivery milestones across a range of projects. As a Developer, you can expect to get hands-on, see the impact of your work and contribution, have the room to learn from a supportive and collaborative team, and develop your career at pace. Day to day, your key focus areas will extend to:

Full stack development, working with distributed systems;

Delivering a great user experience in the products you build;

Helping cross-functional teams deliver a variety of competing projects;

Finding ways to build fast, scalable, flexible systems without blowing the budget;

Interacting directly with customers, understanding their needs, and generalising them into something that can address the needs of an entire market sector.

NET 5: C#, with ASP.NET Web API, for our mid-tier and back-end services;

GitHub->Azure Dev Pipelines->Octopus Deploy->Azure VMs for deployment;

React and TypeScript for our front-end;

SQL Server for back-end storage.

About You / About Us

If you're a passionate, a Front-End systems leaning Developer with 2-4+ years' experience gained in a commercial environment, and have some exposure to UX work, we'd love to hear from you! Ideally, you'll also be someone who enjoys building and improving products, is comfortable with some ambiguity and shifting priorities in your work environment, takes pride in and stands by your work. Location: The role can be based in our London and/or Cambridge offices, where we have established flexible working practices / hybrid WFH and office, and can also be entirely remote although within the UK.
