NHSX is leading the largest digital health and social care transformation programme in the world. With investment of more than £1 billion pounds a year nationally and a significant additional spend locally, NHSX has been created to give staff and citizens the technology they need.
NHSX brings together the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I) who will deliver the Health Secretary's Tech Vision, building on the NHS Long Term Plan. We will speed up the digital transformation of the NHS and social care. We have set ourselves five missions, which are focused on how we can make things better for patients and staff.

The Project Coordinator will act as one of the key points of contact for all programmes and projects in NHSX as well as external stakeholders. They will work on daily assurance activities, the provision of advice and guidance to programmes and projects and reporting within the Delivery Hub, the strategic office responsible for the oversight of all NHSX's work and the Technology Transformation Portfolio. Additionally they will support and take ownership of a vast array of critical pieces of work. This role will provide a unique opportunity to understand programmes and projects, assurance and oversight at various levels, ranging from small projects to large national programmes. They will gain significant experience in the full lifecycle of programmes and projects, governance at an organisational level, reporting and an understanding of strategic oversight.

This post will be located in either London or Leeds with occasional national travel. Initially the role will be virtual, moving to hybrid based working as we return to the office. Hybrid working will be a mixture of working in an office and working remotely, exact arrangements will be agreed with your line manager and based on business need and priorities.
Please note however that because this is a training programme - there is a need for regular office based working
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a relevant degree or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area, who has a passion for health and social care, programme management and its role in supporting transformation.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, innovative, delivery focused, and be able to provide high quality of work in a fast paced environment. They will use their initiative, planning and communication skills to meet the needs of the Delivery Hub and the diverse range of stakeholders they serve, all while consistently role modelling our organisation's culture and values.
Previous experience in health or the public sector would be an advantage but not essential.
