Salary £60k + generous benefits package
Location: Southend On Sea flexi working (home working for now / will consider fully remote)

The role falls within the "Data and Analytics" delivery centre of our clients Public Sector business. The group provides a wide range of data and analytics solutions in support of our client's business priorities: maximise revenues, bear down on fraud, and respond to current Covid challenges.
This role is a technical role, focusing on the build stages of delivery lifecycle although some design activity will be required. You will be working in a multi supplier environment and will be working closely with senior business stakeholders, solution design and technical architects and the wider delivery teams.
You will be involved in maturing features and developing design artefacts with a focus on the logical and physical data entity models and data mapping as well as understanding low level of details from a business, functional and data perspectives. You will also be involved in data analysis and data investigations, developing scripts and macros as appropriate. The right person will also have the team management responsibilities.
Skills:
* Architectural and technical knowledge
* Data management including data analysis, data mapping, logical and physical data entity modelling and data migration
* AWS
* Oracle and SQL
* Scripting and developing complex macros
* Awareness of XML
* JIRA, Confluence
* MS Office toolset
We are interested in seeing candidates with a good mix of the following:
*The candidate will have a good understanding of cloud technologies (especially AWS) and has a strong track record of working on complex and large enterprise- wide IT delivery projects.
*Ideally you will have a software development background with the ability to bring a breadth of architectural knowledge and understanding of end-to-end solution across multiple domains and components.
*Experience in data analysis, data mapping, logical and physical data entity modelling and data migration is essential.
*You will have worked with Oracle or SQL databases and have experience of writing scripting and writing complex macros.
*You will have an appreciation of enterprise delivery issues and have experience of resolving issues especially those relating to data.
