This is an excellent opportunity to secure a 7-month fixed-term contract with a leading UK care provider offering a fantastic benefits and holiday package.

The business is a well-known and respected organisation that provides a niche support service to people with learning or physical disabilities. All IT is in-house, and the business is looking to expand their Technology department to higher standards.

In this role you will provide expert 1st line technical support and training to all users of company IT equipment. As well as passing all IT assets change information to the Senior IT Support Analysts to ensure that an accurate asset registration is maintained.

The ideal candidate will have experience in 1st / 2nd line support and have practical experience of Windows 10 and user account management using Microsoft Active Directory.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 1st / 2nd line support technician to support a growing IT department in a thriving business.

The Role:

*Reporting to the IT Infrastructure and Service Manager

*Providing technical support for all company IT users

*Raising orders for new IT equipment

*Logging all calls and progress all calls on allocated tasks on IT Services systems to ensure an accurate database is maintained.

*Part remote work with some travel to Lichfield office required

The Person:

*Office Administration experience

*Previous 1st / 2nd line support experience

*Highly thorough and questioning in regard to dealing with processing data

*Desirable to have at least one Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent qualification.

*It would be beneficial to have experience of Microsoft Server 2012/2016 and other related Microsoft products
