Job title - Senior Data Business AnalystLocation - London, Canary Wharf/Remote Rate - Up to £550-£600 PAYE or Umbrella £705-£769Start date - ASAPContract - 12 months Our financial services client is currently seeking a Senior Data Business Analyst to join their team in the London office/remote working, this contract will initially be for 12 months.

This role is within the Data management and is located in Canary Wharf, London.

The role will involve working on a large programme as a Data Management SME to represent the requirements for the integration of a Global Operating Model and Global Middle Office Platform. The role is within the Bank's AM (Asset Management) Data Management team and reports to the Global Data Change Lead. The role holder will work within a large programme to implement a Global Target Operating Model and Middle Office Platform, representing Data Management and the Data Services integrations. The role holder is required to have subject matter expert experience within Asset Management, with extensive knowledge on the multiple data sets to support the Asset Management business; trade data and messaging, entity data, security data, investment data, funds data, transfer agency data and ESG. The role will include data analysis, business analysis, generation of supporting documentation, attending meetings to discuss and explain Data requirements and elements both internally and externally.Responsibilities will include the following:Working with third party vendors and internal resources to capture, analyse and document business requirements for the Middle Office Platform integration to internal applications, Data Services and Data transfer tools.Working with third party vendors and internal resources to produce a solution for the Middle Office Platform integration to the above application sets, with a focus on Front office post execution systems and other internal applications integrated to the current Middle Office platforms.Risk identification and devising interventions for mitigating the identified risks.Verification through testing that the solution identified meets the requirements once delivered for testing.Supporting the ovrall programme and other resources within the programme with SME inputs where needed.Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in the following areas:Experience within an Asset Management organizationExcellent knowledge of Trade messaging, Investment and Security Master DataExperience with integration to Middle Office SystemsExperience working within a large Programme.Excellent written skills, with the ability to condense multiple inputs into written requirementsExperience working with asset management dataExperience with test planning, execution, and defect trackingExperience and drive to defect/bug tracking, retest, and resolutionGood written and verbal communication for stakeholder and vendor interactionStrong Analytical/problem solving skills including use of MS Excel (including VLOOKUP's, if functions)Ability to reconcile datasetsDetail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasksExperience with Word, Visio, PowerPointGood SQL skillsProject lifecycle - both waterfall and agile.If you are relevant or interested, please contact me at
