IT Support Engineer - SC Security Cleared

We are looking to hire an experienced IT Support Engineer to manage IT support requests and provide support for employee computers, email accounts, user accounts, printers, and phones onsite in the UK

*Install, configure, and deploy workstations and peripherals

*Provide support to employees worldwide on a variety of hardware and software concerns

*Troubleshoot issues with workstations, email, printers, and phones

*Troubleshoot connectivity issues including wireless networking and VPN

*Monitor and maintain network switch environment

*Reseating a network drive or cable/patch lead

*Checking hardware/network activity, firewall status or looking for errors display through LED alerts or system monitoring tools

The role is on an initial contract running until the end of the year and is based in Hendon. SC Security Clearance will be required due to the sensitive nature of this assignment.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
