Premier Group are currently engaged with a large established client in the Northampton Area, who require an Infrastructure Engineer on an initial 3-month contract to provide operational support and be a key member on exciting project activities.
The Infrastructure Engineer will use their expertise to build, maintain, and coordinate the company’s digital networks and systems
Infrastructure Engineer - Skills required:
Full Azure portfolio experienceExperience with systems administration, configuration, and troubleshootingExperience designing and maintaining diverse and highly available infrastructure as code solutions3rd line support experience on a multi-server estate including Virtual machines and storage solutionsAn infectious, positive attitude and strong work ethicExperience with cloud computing like AWS or AzureLead by example, and drive change in this exciting fast paced organisationBalance priorities quickly and effectively whilst managing customer expectations
Infrastructure Engineer - Key responsibilities:
Apply specific technical skills as required to support the business needsDevelop innovative solutions to unique problemsDevelop and maintain expertiseAssist in the development of junior team membersUndertake special projects as requiredPrepare key documentation such as reports and present progress at project meetings and to clientsDraw up project plans and/or subtasks so they may be tracked and presentedPerform root cause analysis and resolve problemsMentoring and guide to other team membersTraining both team and broader organisation memberBe an effective team member, working with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum outputAbility to manage a variety of activities at the same timeAble to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with many stakeholders
