Role Title: Business Analyst (BA/PM)Duration: ASAP - February 2022Location: Remote / LondonRate: £522.50 - PAYE / £660.00 - Umbrella The Central Securities Depository Regulation (CSDR) is the latest step in establishing an EU-wide harmonised regulatory framework for financial market infrastructures and promoting safety and stability in financial markets.The role is a new position that operates within an established, dynamic Program team formed of Project Managers and Business Analysts. The role holder will have responsibility including, initiation, design & planning, project execution, project tracking and progress reporting, risk and issue logging and senior management escalation, post implementation reviews etc.The role engagement will encompass a broad spectrum of Front Office, Operations, Risk, Legal, Client and Reporting functions. As such the role scope is broad and end-to-end.The role holder will be expected to have a proven track record of Change Delivery and experience in influencing and leading teams through change lifecycles. The ideal candidate will also have applied the change techniques within a large Program context in one or more of the spectrum of topics.Deliver change global and regional change projectsBuild and deliver solutions and validate designsAnticipate, capture, and escalate risks and issuesBuild technology partnershipsBuild business partnershipsWrite status reportsDeliver stakeholder communicationKey Skills & Competencies:The role holder must be aware of CSDR and understand its impact on Global Markets Business (preferable)Sensitive internal business relationships requiring vigilance and precision to maximise benefit of the bank's investmentRelevant experience related to Business Analytics and Project ManagementGlobal Markets Front Office knowledge required (preferable)Detailed Equities or Fixed Income processes and systems knowledge a pre-requisiteUp to date understanding of CSDR and commercial and contractual impact for Equities or Fixed IncomeCandidates must have a solid understanding of the Equities or Fixed Income business modelsSubject Matter Expertise on data exchanges between Equities or Fixed Income Systems and upstream / downstream systems - ie, Traded Risk, Liquidity and Capital Reporting, PTS, Accounting systems, Regulatory Reporting, Product Control, Legal, Documents Operations etcProven investigative and facilitation skills, proven requirements, and solution design facilitation skillsGood understanding of operational risk and the impact to implemented changeExcellent relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders (Markets Operations, Front Office, Trading Desk, Legal, Compliance etc) including very strong communication, escalation and issue management skills.Minimum of ten years' experience in an Investment Bank or relevant financial institution
