Excellent opportunity for an IT technical support professional to join a prestigious financial consultancy offering outstanding training and progression opportunities to advance your skillset and career.

An established consultancy with a Global presence, this company are investing heavily into their Technology department within their London headquarters. Through rapid expansion, they are looking for a Technical Support specialist to join their team.

In this varied role you will enable users to access the applications and systems via a company laptop and/or virtual desktop infrastructure. You will build and distribute hardware and install software, troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues. You'll set up and configure Group Policies, evaluate systems and applications and assist with implementation. This role is office based in central London. You'll also be responsible for providing out of hours support as part of an 'on-call' rota.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical support role. You will have a proven incident and problem management background. You'll have a good understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems and MS office application suite. You'll have experience with large systems implementations, such as OS upgrades and new hardware/software rollouts. Experience within FinTech companies or the financial sector is highly beneficial.
