IT Infrastructure Engineer (Servers)

Contract: 5 months initially

£550pd + £78 p/d PAYE uplift (£628 pd all in)

Our client is a global financial services organisation with a significant arm of their IT function on the south coast. As an established, approved IT recruitment partner we have been asked to assist in the hire of a contract IT Infrastructure Engineer to focus on servers. This role is a day rate contract with initial sign-off for 5 months. It's offered PAYE only up to £550pd. An extra £78pd will be paid as a PAYE uplift. (*So, all in £628 p/d payable to nominated umbrella co)

This role is required to support Infrastructure Server team to deliver 3rd and 4th line SME Server support

Essential Skills:

Windows Server Operating Systems (2000 - 2016)

Windows System Centre 3 Suite (SCCM, SCOM, Scorch)

Windows Clustering

Windows PowerShell

Microsoft Active Directory

VMware vSphere 5.5 - 6.7

VMware vCenter 5.5 - 6.7

VMware Site Recovery Manager

VMware vRealise Operations Manager

VMware PowerCLi

Enterprise Intel Hardware (Blade and Chassis as well as

rackmount devices)

Incident, Problem and Change management

Third party

supplier operations (Hardware vendors and software suppliers)

IT Security

controls.

Hyperconverged computing platforms (Nutanix) * Cisco Networking.
