The Ring Fence & Perimeter Team's role is to advise, report on, monitor and enforce the Ring Fence Perimeter, we put customers first and protect the clients of the Ring Fenced Bank. This role involves acting as a source of expertise in supporting the legislative Relevant Financial Institution (RFI) classification activity in the team.

All customers within the Ring Fenced Bank have a requirement to be classified. The team provides a RFI classification service to Retail, Wealth and Group Sourcing and acts as an point of escalation for Commercial Banking classifications.

The role involves managing the provision of this service to these business areas by delivering the following:

Developing and maintaining key relationships across the wider team and LBG business areas who receive the RFI classification service and have RFI touchpoints;

Ensuring that business partners are engaged with pro-actively, collaboratively and constructively to provide excellent service, including demonstrating ability to positively influence and anticipate partner needs;

Focusing on what matters by developing, maintaining and presenting a suite of documentation, including Service Level Agreements, internal processes, training materials and MI reporting;

Undertaking robust and regular oversight and quality checking relating to RFI classification work, ensuring that any issues are promptly remediated, training delivered and reporting documentation accurate;

Supporting management by providing the efficient and effective production of high quality analysis and reporting, including tracking risk parameters, identifying any emerging risks or trends and reporting to management accordingly;

Using data led insight to provide recommendations, guidance and advice to management and business partners relating to the application of legislative RFI classifications to support informed and compliant decision making and evolve the RFI framework;

Taking ownership for people and self-development by actively seeking and embedding feedback;

Providing support to the Senior Manager and team Head.

About you;

Please note that you do not need previous ring fencing or RFI experience, we're looking for a colleague who can demonstrate the capabilities noted below and full training will be provided.

Regulatory and Compliance experience

Risk Management experience.

Great at self-management, you'll be confident in running your own day, managing tasks and setting expectations;

Confident leadership skills, you will have the ability to both communicate collaboratively (written and verbally) and customise content for all levels;

Strong analytical and decision making skills, including ability to interpret, simplify and present sophisticated information from a position of knowledge and confidence, ensuring it is tailored to the audience;

***This role can be based out of our Edinburgh, Glasgow or London hubs - we are mainly looking for the above skillsets. The broad base salary banding across the UK is from £46,000pa to £74,000pa. Salaries in the London area will be reflected towards the upper end of this bracket***
