Location offices to choose from: either London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Wales, Liverpool or Sheffield (remote for now)

As an established and approved tech hiring partner to one of the leading global consultancies, we have been asked to assist in the hire of an Architect to focus on Microsoft 365 / and Unified Comms.

This role sits within the Cloud Infrastructure Services Business unit. Candidates with real-world experience that carry beyond mailbox migrations are sought. The ability to demonstrate understanding of how customers can maximise the value from their M365 investment.

Key duties

High-level & Detailed-level architecture design for native cloud-based MS Office 365

Service Transition: Supervise strategic partners and subcontractors to produce design, build and deploy new IT services (or service changes)

Develop road map for the organisation - Short term and long-term Plan, aligned to business requirements and goals for the organisation

Design and plan roll out of major upgrades from traditional on-premises services to MS Office 365 (Exchange, SfB, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune) - native & hybrid

Advise on Office 365 License details, usage allocation and budget forecast

Skills

This is a highly technical role. Your primary duties will include but not be limited to:

*Service Design: High-level & Detailed-level architecture design for native cloud-based MS Office 365, on-premise and Hybrid services

*Plan and prepare design review presentation with Architects, Service Managers and key business stakeholders to validate or decide on major architecture changes or projects

*Service Transition: Supervise strategic partners and subcontractors to produce design, build and deploy new IT services (or service changes)

*Develop road map for the organisation - Short term and long-term Plan, aligned to business requirements and goals for the organisation

*Design and plan roll out of major upgrades from traditional on-premise services to MS Office 365 (Exchange, SfB, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune) - native & hybrid

*Advise on Office 365 License details, usage allocation and budget forecast

*This role may suit individuals who have held the following roles: O365 Architect, M365 Architect, Cloud Architect.

This role is work from home. Post Covid there may be a requirement to spend some time on client sites if a project dictates. We anticipate 1 day a week or a run of 2-3 days a month max. Our client has offices in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh
