IT Support Engineer - up to 40K
Home working / Berkshire
Established, Software consultancy, who largely service the enterprise market in the UK, is looking to recruit IT Support Engineer, who will be responsible for providing 1st to 3rd line support, monitor calls and tickets coming into the service desk, and join a on call rota to provide out of hours support in case of major incidents.
The support could be anything from system monitoring and performance, system resets, as well as new starter setups.
Skills / Environment (not all essential):
*Experience with cloud-based environment, most typically AWS.
*Knowledge of supporting Linux servers.
*Knowledge of analytics.
*Online monitoring tools.
*Kibana, Grafana, Cloudwatch and SDS-toolkit.
*Elastalert, Datadog, Jira for logging incidents, Service Now, Confluence.
*IAM for user management, Insomnia/Postman for API requests.
*Ability to capture customer requirements.
*Ability to prioritise and communicate under stressful circumstances.
*Adept in supporting networking principles (TCP/IP) and some SQL writing skills with data extraction and report writing experience.
*Commercial experience (understanding contractual obligations).
