This award winning and successful online business is looking for experienced finance support to help with a maternity cover. The right candidate will be offered excellent support within a friendly team. Remote working is possible - but we require candidates within commuting distance of our Hemel Hempstead head office for any ad- hoc meetings.
Tasks include:
Raise invoices for orders and payments on Sage and send to clients
Client finance queries
Supplier Invoice management and payments
End of month reconciliation for sales
Company credit card and expenses management
Month-end summaries passed to Accountant
Monthly reconciliation of bank
Credit Control and debt management
General Bookkeeping
General internal finance queries
VAT return (quarterly)
Filing of invoices, receipts, statements etc
Ideally experience of:
Small business bookkeeping / finance management
Experience of Sage
Comfortable with credit control
Key skills:
Ability to manage a range of tasks
Effective communication internally and externally
Understanding of finance principals
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent and trustworthy credentials
