My client urgently requires a Consultant with specialist technical expertise in VMWare & VCF to support their customers programme in Portsmouth.

START: ASAP

DURATION: 6 WEEKS

CLEARANCE: SC

RATE: £550 (INSIDE IR35)

Essential skills required:

*Experience with Design and Delivery related work on VMware VCF and vSphere based solutions

*Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware ESX and related technologies e.g vSAN

*At least one professional Virtualisation certification that has been obtained within the last five years, i.e. VMware VCP (VMware vCenter Certified Professional) or higher

*Excellent knowledge of distributed, highly virtualised environments running business-critical applications across regions

Desirable skills:

*Knowledge of scripting/automation skills

*Experience of team working on complex vSphere deliverables

*Understanding of Software Defined Datacentre Designs

*Knowledge of VMware Validated Designs

*Experience with cloud vendors and cloud data protection methods

Working instructions:

Understand the template model environment (Discovery), creation of target design and implementation of VMware VCF design and test plan/s, deployment and test
