Pega Developer

Base in the region of £40k - £100k (Multiple positions)

Multiple client site location options - London, Bristol, Newcastle, Bristol, Manchester, Telford + plus more

Our client is one of the leading global consultancies and we have been asked to assist in the hire of multiple Pega developers at various levels, ranging from Junior through to Senior.

Skills & Experience needed:

*Comprehensive and up to date knowledge of Pega

*Broad and working knowledge of IT applications, with specific knowledge of how the technical specialism relates to other areas of IT and how it impacts on other business functions.

*Expert in Business Process Analysis and Design, Techniques and Standards.

*Expert in Corporate, Industry and Professional industry standards

*Expert in Process/ Information Modelling tools - Pega

*Cloud migration knowledge

*Any one framework knowledge

*Proactively provides expert specialist business process and/ or specialist Pega technical systems advice and consultancy to representatives of the business and other areas of IT in line with the demands of the Strategic Portfolio

*Deploys strong leadership skills in managing others in the delivery of Business Cases, ensuring own work remains on track

*Relationship Management skills- ability to manage senior stakeholders up to and including Executive level - to build relationships that create confidence in the BUILD functions technical delivery capabilities

*Effective Professional Communication skills - Ability to interact and communicate with senior management and IT technical colleagues for the planning, execution, and operational aspects of solutions architecture environments. Decision making and Business influencing skills - ability to support vendor and service provider management.

*Analytical Thinking: systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving, familiar with the software engineering life cycle for development and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems.

*In depth understanding of business process impact of Pega's BPM Solution.

Responsibilities:

*Develops business architecture application and processes containing logical models of both business and application components, detailing the steps and interfaces.

*Accountable for full technical and solution design aspects of business application and processes. Uses appropriate standards, methods and tools and ensures they are applied effectively

*Leads and accountable for investigative architectural analysis activities to seek effective business solutions. Organises implementation through improvements in business processes, information systems, data management, organisation and equipment. Applies and monitors use of required modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards in an intelligent and effective way

*Maintains broad solutions architectural knowledge at a lead level by reading relevant literature, attending conferences and seminars, meeting and maintaining contact with others IT professionals and should take an active part in appropriate learning opportunities, professional and trade bodies

*Provide thought leadership through the analysis of complex business functional changes

*Provide specialist technical definition to deliver complex business functional changes

*Support project resources for the production of a Business Case with recommended solutions

*Control the investigation of high level customer requirements & analysis of customer information

*Control the creation of Business Process Maps and Application Specifications

*Evaluate potential Business Application and processes

*Review with a view to improving the performance of business applications and processes

*Lead and oversee the creation and maintenance of Business Application and Process documentation describing the functional process/ area for which they are the nominated primary owner guiding others, such as Solutions Analysts and other technical leads

*Review overall project solutions to ensure consistency with function standards and documented business and IT strategy

*Lead the support of Project Managers/Scrum Master in the delivery of projects from a Solutions Architecture perspective
