Salary commensurate with experience circa £40000 to £55000  + Benefits. Embedded Software R&D role with a company developing New processors, software and hardware compute platforms and software targeting the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. Their proprietary technology allows customers to build  and develop AI processing software solutions with greater speed and efficiency with simplified complexity but greater performance and precision. About the role You will be joining an embedded software team working on Software Design Kits (SDK's) working on the embedded SDK development using proprietary packages, applications and Libraries. Developing Embedded software and firmware targeting AI, Computer Vision and Machine learning systems. You will also be involved in brand new hardware platforms and processor bring up, including boot loader, peripheral and systems support for Linux Kernel, and other Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS). About youDegree qualified in a related field such as Electronics, Computer Sciences, etc5 years+ of embedded system software development Programming skills in C, C++ & Python languages.Software development of Linux distributions (Debian, Buildroot, etc).Operating Systems for embedded products and applications using Linux, RTOS, GStreamer.Low level embedded device driver software / firmware development for embedded systems.Knowledge of Machine learning/AI plus OpenVx and OpenCV for Computer Vision ApplicationsLinux upstreaming and contributions to the open source communityKnowledge of the usual Software development tools such as debuggers, compilers, JIRA, GIT, etcAbout Applying Send your CV to Alex at IC Resources to hear more details and to apply for this interesting and challenging Embedded Software development role.
