The CompanyOur client, a specialist software provider serving over 30,000 customers in the UK, Ireland, Benelux, North America and South Africa, is now looking for Consultants to join their team in Antwerp as they implement their in-house ERP system for their Belgian customers. For over 40 years this company has provided integrated IT solutions, and is a well respected authority in the ERP industry. The RoleThe job title of ERP consultant can seem a little vague, so I will break down the core responsibilities of the role here. You will primarily be working with the in-house ERP system of the company, that is designed for SME's in the retail and wholesale industry. This position will require you to be on location with customers 3 to 4 days a week, which will be located throughout Belgium. You will of course be provided with a company car. For one day a week every 2 weeks, you will need to travel to the head office based in Antwerp. You will be the point of contact for the customer during the implementation, and will need to be an effective communicator in order to coordinate the various aspects of the project. This role is best suited for someone that enjoys social contact and has a natural ability to network. Your analytical skills will also be challenged and developed as you assess the business processes of the customer and translate these into a custom solution.

Role & ResponsibilitiesCreating an inventory of the different business processes of your customersAdvise customers on the optimal settings within the system for their individual needs. Give training to key usersDraw up functional specifications, and if customisation is required you will need to search for a solution within the standard functionality of the system.
