A fast growing company that now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager, to join the engineering team as part of the PMO function.RoleThe Project Manager will be responsible for managing new product development projects in compliance with the ISO13485.The Project Manager will interact with non-engineering teams and serve as the main resource between these teams ensuring consistency of best practice.The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team, driving timelines and providing progress updates on deliverables across medical device projects. ResponsibilitiesIdentify & document detailed project requirements across the businessFacilitate the scoping of key projects to determine success criteria whilst appropriately balancing the need for business consensusProvide periodic and accurate headline summaries for significant projects and an accurate predication of project trendMaintain a detailed schedule throughout the project of the delivery of key project milestones, working proactively to minimise delay against agreed project timelinesManage multiple projects simultaneously with consistency and against tight timelines.Identify project risks in a structured way and proactively mitigate themUse internal and external resource to efficiently deliver business value to appropriate quality standardsManage project change with the appropriate use of suitable project management methodologiesCommunicate with and manage strategy for stakeholders across business, ensuring every interaction balances business need with personal relationshipsAnticipate senior stakeholder needs and ensure timely, proportionate communication with relevant stakeholdersIdentify and implement appropriate project delivery process improvements to the PMOMentor colleagues across the company on project management best practiceKeep abreast of industry best practice in project management techniques, applying as appropriate.Skills Hands on project management experience, preferably in supporting complex medical device delivery.Ideally degree qualified, or equivalent, in an engineering or another related technical discipline.Knowledge of contemporary project management tools, ISO9001 and ISO13485 and a formal project management qualification would be beneficial (candidates from other regulated sectors such as aerospace, pharmaceutical, biotechnology etc. also considered).
