Part of larger IT transformation, it will ensure we make the most out of data and make informed decisions. As BI Visualisation Manager, you'll be part of a newly formed team, where you'll provide essential BI reports and dashboard development support for the wider BI function. It's all about translating data in an understandable way and offering clear insights.   Day to day, you'll lead on reporting and visualisation, and also manage a team. Together, you'll develop and maintain several reports and analytical insights using a variety of tools such as Power BI and Excel. Working with other BI teams, you'll see that reports move between development, testing and production smoothly and at pace. And, as an Agile-experienced professional, you'll be comfortable with scrum master duties and deputising for the Head of BI. The person This is a role for a motivated professional with proven BI expertise. You'll know how to present and visualise data, illustrate insights and embed a wide range of analysis techniques. You've also designed and delivered reports and dashboards using Power BI (visualisation, data preparation, MQuery and DAX calculations), and worked in an Agile environment. An advanced Excel user, you're used to performing qualitative and quantitative data analysis. However, it's just as important that you have the communication skills to connect with colleagues and explain the potential of BI. An assured and capable leader, you'll inspire improvement and better ways of working, as well as a skilled team. The rewards We offer competitive salaries at the ONR, with this role attracting a salary of £41,005 - £49,076 (plus a London Weighting allowance of £4,052). And together they're involved in everything from assessing safety cases, inspecting nuclear sites, communicating our decisions, training new recruits and representing the UK and ONR within the wider international nuclear community.
