Business Applications & Data Analyst - Slough - £45-50k Please note - this role requires you to work from the Slough based office at least 3-4 days per week. This role requires you to have the unrestricted right to work in the UK - this organisation is not able to offer sponsorship. A well-know Retail organisation are looking to recruit a Business Applications and Data Analyst to join their head office team in Slough. This is a predominantly office based role which offers the flexibility to work from home at least one day per week. You will be joining an extremely diverse IT and Data team made up of Support Analysts, Application Developers, Business Intelligence Analysts/Developers and a DBA. You will report directly in to the IT manager. The primary focus of this role is split into two key areas: 1. The migration of the SQL Data Warehouse into the latest version of SQL Server. 2. The creation of an in-house web application You will be part of a large digital transformation which includes a major shift from three separate ERP systems. This is a role where you will be challenged and hold a lot of technical responsibility. You will also be expected to work closely with stakeholders and regularly report back to Directors and other decision-makers within the business. This organisation has recovered well following the economic effect of the Covid-19 pandemic and in order to keep up with customer demand this is a critical role within the IT function. To be a good fit for this role you should be an experienced Business Applications & Data Analyst who is looking for a challenging role.
