Senior Health and Safety Advisor

Scotland (Central Belt) - Paisley, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Livingston

£40,000 + Car Allowance + Support Towards Qualifications + 30 Days Holiday Total + Ride To Work Scheme

Health and Safety Advisor role on offer where you will play an integral part in ensuring a culture of continuous improvement within a company that puts emphasis on circular economy and environmental credentials.

Do you have previous Health and Safety experience from a chemical manufacturing background? Have you got a minimum of NEBOSH Certificate and strong report writing skills?

This company specialises in the management of domestic and trade waste materials for re-use in energy conversion. As a result of recent growth they now require a QHSE Advisor to come in and assist the Head of QHSE in preparing, developing and maintaining current management systems in alignment with ISO standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH Diploma and experience of working to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 standards. It would be advantageous for candidates to hold Chemistry Qualifications and experience within laboratory work or chemical manufacturing.

This role is a key position within the company where you will play a vital role in advising and supporting managers and supervisors in Health and Safety best practice when dealing customers, employees and visitors. The Role:

*Senior Health and Safety Advisor

*Responsible for providing advice to managers and employees at varying levels

*Auditing workplaces to ensure compliance with statutory provisions

*Risk Assessments

*£40,000 + Car Allowance + Support Towards Qualifications + 30 Days Holiday Total + Ride To Work Scheme

The Candidate:

*NEBOSH Certificate

*Knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001

*Chemistry Qualifications and experience working within a laboratory or chemical manufacturing

*Chartered Member of IOSH (Desirable)
