Head of IT - Glasgow- c£80KNigel Frank International have been appointed by an international retail brand that is looking for a Head of IT to support and manage the IT infrastructure while leading a team of 15 technology professionals.My client has over 300 stores around the world, they operate with a large number of users across many different servers throughout their IT infrastructure. This presents an IT professional an excellent opportunity to manage the infrastructure and step up in a senior role.This role would be perfect for someone that has extensive management experience while good knowledge of various IT systems, software and hardware.Roles & responsibilities:Manage a team of 15 people, organising workload and supervising for 11 direct reports (plus support for indirect).Ensure high levels of system up time for a complex network.Ensure high levels of system up time for a server infrastructure of 70+ servers.Manage and maintain hardware, system operating systems, network applications and software.Plan and implement infrastructure improvements, identifying and designing the hardware and software solutions required.Support and assist applications team in system improvements.Plan and implement IT Projects.Ensure security of all servers, desktops, networks and applications.Skills & qualifications:IT managerial experience.Knowledge of different technologies, software and hardware.Team Leadership experienceIf you are interested in this position please send your CV to [email protected] or call me 0203 148 4678 to discuss this role in further detail.
