Systems / Web Developer

Northampton, with some remote working

Salary up to circa 45k plus excellent benefits (inc. pension scheme, life insurance, private health care, dental health care, corporation discounts and more)

A leading UK law firm with an impressive list of household name commercial clients are looking to recruit a Systems / Web Developer to join the expanding team. Employees are able to do a mixture of both remote working and office based work in Northampton. With a turnover of over £150m and holding the "Platinum Standard" Investors in People award, our client has an excellent reputation within the legal field.

The Systems Developer will form part of a team responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's IT systems and services.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

*Methodically investigate, analyse, and document requirements.

*Design, develop and maintain key software components using ASP.Net, MVC and SharePoint Online, in accordance with Software and Security Development Lifecycles.

*Test all software developments and resolve any issues, ensuring systems operate in a reliable manner.

*Ensure appropriate documentation is created and maintained for all system developments.

*Provide accurate development effort estimates.

*Ensure systems change management is carried out in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Key skills (PLEASE NOTE not all essential):

*Experience working as a web Developer or SharePoint Developer, including the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications.

*Experience developing in C# and the Microsoft .NET/.NET Framework/.NET Core.

*Experience of JavaScript

*Experience of CSS

*Good understanding of IT systems

*Knowledge of PowerShell scripting beneficial

*Experience with Microsoft 365, the SharePoint framework, and the Graph API beneficial

*Experience with Microsoft SSRS and SSIS beneficial

*Experience with K2 (Nintex) beneficial

*Good A Levels/BTEC Preferably in IT and or Mathematics ideally

Additional details:

Occasional travel to other offices may be necessary.

It is essential that the post holder can work flexible or extended hours to complete some tasks outside of core business hours of 08:00 to 18:00.
