Senior IT Engineer

Bristol

£35,000 to £45,000 + Bonus & Package

Excellent opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join a growing, stable company in a highly varied and interesting position where your efforts will be valued & well rewarded.

This company are going through an exciting growth period. They are specialists within telecommunications and have recently completed the merger of a smaller MSP. Through this growth they are looking to add a Senior IT Solutions Engineer to their busy team.

In this role you will be supporting customers and internal staff, providing an excellent onboarding experience from IT equipment procurement, set up of user accounts, devices and any software required providing an excellent level of customer service. This is a mainly office-based role in North Bristol, with occasional client site visits required at times.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a managed service provider in an IT Support Engineer role. You will be experienced in network infrastructure, Microsoft suite, routers, switches, and firewalls. Experience in cloud-based platforms such as Azure and AWS and hosted voice experience is beneficial.

The role:

*Responsible for the support, installation, maintenance, availability, and security of the customers IT network

*Own the day-to-day management and support of the company's IT infrastructure and services

*Provide end users and staff with technical support and training

*IT systems and data security / compliance

*Manage disaster recovery and IT Infrastructure, continuity planning and testing

*Site based in Bristol with occasional travel to client sites

The person:

*Background within IT Support Engineering roles

*Network administration experience covering LAN and WAN Infrastructures

*User support experience
