My client, a global FMCG business based in London have partnered exclusively with Michael Page in their search for a Global Head of Data.You will have the opportunity to build a new Global Data function from scratch as you work cross-functionally to drive a new Data strategy from the ground up.Client DetailsA FMCG giant, based in London with offices across the UK and globally.DescriptionYou will be tasked with building and implementing a new Data roadmap from scratch. This role is sat within Finance and reporting into the Finance Director, however this is very much a cross-functional role in which you will work with heads of department to understand the current state of play, where the data is sat and how the business uses it. You will work with internal and external data to ensure the customer base is being fully penetrated to maximise company performance. Sales, Marketing and Finance will be the main areas to focus on over the initial few months and this will move into HR, IT etc as the roadmap is set up. This is a new department and you will be responsible for recruiting 2 new hires over the first 6 months.ProfileEssential Skills & Experience: Implementing a new data strategy from scratch.Working cross-functionally.FMCG, Retail or E-Commerce experience.
