IT Security Operations Manager London to £120k

IT Security Operations Manager (SOC) *Hybrid WfH*. Do you have expertise with IT Security Operations?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, high profile role at a global FinTech that has been consistently voted as one of the UKs top employers.

As the IT Security Operations Manager you will oversee the effective operation of the technical security teams, set and deliver the IT Security strategy and ensure that all applicable policy, governance, risk and audit requirements are adhered to. You'll have four direct team lead reports with an overall team of around thirty.

You'll focus on ensuring that the SOC team, processes and technology are optimised for the effective detection of current and emerging cyber-attacks; 24/7 x 365 days. You'll drive the continual improvement of incident response, ensuring that team members have sufficient training and knowledge and that internal resources are managed.

There's currently a remote interview / onboarding process as well as work from home during the current social distancing measures with a great deal of flexibility going forwards (2 days office, flexible start times); when you are in the office you'll be based in the City with an upbeat team environment, casual dress code and a range of facilities including roof terrace and break out areas.

Requirements:

You have extensive experience within IT Security positions including within a SOC environment with leadership responsibilities

You have a thorough understanding of security log collection, monitoring architecture and processes; the security incident lifecycle; best practice incident management techniques

You have a strong knowledge of Information / Cyber Security risk management and governance frameworks and standards, such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills - are able to inspire and motivate others and enjoy developing others in your team

CISSP or CISM would be great but not necessary
