We are looking for a Programme & Project Manager to join our growing team on a permanent contract.

At JT International we rarely stand still. Our products and processes constantly evolve to meet our customers' needs, and as we flex to seize the opportunities presented by new technologies and markets. It's an exciting time as we enter a growth phase across our existing "Internet of Things" (IoT), Fraud Prevention and Messaging businesses. There couldn't be a better time for you to join the team.

As our Project and Programme manager, you will have overall governance of a portfolio of International projects, and the opportunity to deliver specific projects that touch every area of JT - from Technology through to Billing, Finance and Marketing. This is a great opportunity for someone who can see and manage the "big picture" and also wants to be engaged in the engine room of delivery.

Within this role you will have the autonomy to define, implement and deliver. We're a small team, so flexibility is critical, as well as the ability to create processes and order where needed. You will need to make your voice heard within a fast-moving and busy working environment, and be able to communicate to all levels of the business. In return your work will span a global base of customers, colleagues and partners, and you'll immediately see the results of your hard work.

Key Responsibilities

  •  End-to-end delivery management of projects to budget and timescale targets
  •  Programme management of International delivery projects, ensuring that resourcing, budgets and outcomes are monitored and reported on a weekly basis
  •  Line management of an IoT Project Manager to support delivery tasks
  •  Definition of new processes and workflows where needed
  •  Continual monitoring of project progress to ensure that required business case and customer experience outcomes are being tracked
  •  Clear, concise and regular reporting on project delivery status, with timely escalation where issues cannot be resolved at the project level
  •  Set-up and conduct regular project meetings to ensure that all relevant business stakeholders are engaged and committed to delivery targets
  •  Management of project finances, ensuring alignment and reporting to finance and project governance forums
  •  Ensure that quality standards are maintained across projects, and that deliverables are signed-off prior to launch
  •  Ownership of project budget forecasting during annual planning cycles
  •

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  •  At least one recognised PMLC such as Prince 2, PMP or MSP
  •  Accreditation of recognised process frameworks (e.g. Six Sigma)
  •  Strong technical knowledge and experience in telecoms or IT/data services industries
  •  Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects
  •  Knowledge of project management techniques (including planning and estimation; budget management and business case development; risk management; procurement; testing and quality management and stakeholder communication)
  •  Highly numerical/analytical with excellent attention to detail
  •  Proactive and flexible attitude to work

Benefits

  •  26 days holiday
  •  Private Healthcare
  •  Pension
  •  Bonus Scheme
  •  Fully discounted mobile
  •  Professional Development

JT are trialling a new model of working called "Smart Ways of Working" (SWOW). Currently in a trial period until December 2021, we provide colleagues with an opportunity to embrace flexibility to work the hours that suit them in a location of their choice - office, home or further afield. Our main priority is colleague wellbeing and we hope this offers greater opportunity for a work life balance.

We aim to offer this approach to all colleagues across the business, but we recognise that there are certain roles that will need to work in a specific way due to their nature, such as our colleagues working in engineering, our contact centres and our retail outlets. We are actively working with our management teams to increase flexibility wherever we can.
