The Head of Infrastructure will be a key Member of the IT Leadership team during the business' Digital Transformation. You will be responsible for managing the Infrastructure team, as well as having the Technical knowledge to give input day to day.Client DetailsMichael Page are delighted to be partnering with a Highly reputable organisation based in Manchester.DescriptionWhat you'll be doing?The Head of Infrastructure will be a key Member of the IT Leadership team during the business' Digital Transformation. You will be responsible for managing the Infrastructure team, as well as having the Technical knowledge to give input day to day. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with delivery teams within the teams across the entire organisation as well as external organisationsProvide leadership and support in relation to IT Infrastructure for new and existing digital servicesUndertake regular IT Security vulnerability assessments of all IT Systems, manage identified vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plansEnsure that good communication is embedded within the teams they are responsible for and develop and provide regular performance reports on the progress of projects and IT infrastructure servicesWork autonomously to resolve issues within their remit escalating as appropriate to the Associate Director of IT Infrastructure and OperationsManage both the Infrastructure team as well as the Web operations teamBe responsible for Personal Development Plans, Appraisals and overall performance of team staffProfileKey Skills & Experience:Extensive knowledge of IT Infrastructure and IaaS, industry standards and processes for effective delivery of IT operationsKnowledge of supporting an Office 365, WAN connectivity and AWS/AzureDemonstrable leadership skills evidenced by an ability to identify and adopt appropriate management and leadership strategies and styles to suit specific situationsExcellent customer service and negotiation skillsGood knowledge of financial management, budgets and the ability deliver value for moneyEffective communicator at all levels of an organisations using a variety of mediaEvidence of significant knowledge data centre technologies including WAN/LANKnowledge and experience of using ITIL framework and standards to the delivery of IT infrastructure servicesKnowledge in current and existing IT security systemsGood knowledge of modern web protocols and security standardsDemonstrable knowledge of and skilled in project and programme management.Job OfferSalary : £52,000 - £62,000
