Key Responsibilities

Works very closely with the Digital Product Owner, delivering to the shared Technology Roadmap spanning IS and Digital. High profile in its deliveries, this role has close links with the Chief Information Officer and Chief Digital Officer.Works closely with the Heads of IS, Digital and Technology Business Partners, outlining and establishing technology projects; to lead and collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure clear lines of communication and consistent successful project outcomes.Responsible for day to day management of multiple projects and associated workstreams as allocated, following agreed technology delivery lifecycle framework from initiation through to closure and benefits realisation.Develop and maintain standard documentation and plans appropriate with your projects, consistent across a range of project methodologies, e.g. agile.Support the Technology Business Partners to create and monitor the project outcomes and ensure a robust resource plan for the project is created and resource utilization accurately tracked and reported, providing regular updates on project performance (time, cost and quality)Support the Heads of IS and Digital ensuring they are provided with accurate and timely information that supports appropriate decision making.Lead and manage technology projects, working with agile teams creating required work packages and monitoring agreed outputs to ensure time, costs and quality requirements are met. Supports internal and external partner resources to coordinate and successfully deliver technology work packages.Works with the Business and Technology leaders to identify and manage cross directorate project stakeholders and create the Communications Plan that supports effective engagement.Work with the heads of IS, Digital and Technology Business Partners to develop the roll out plan and undertake all the co-ordination tasks required to ensure the plan is executed effectively.Analyse, define, implement, monitor and review project processes to drive continuous improvements to ensure a consistent approach leading to increased successful outcomes.Profile

Essential

Proven experience of leading successful technology project management of internal technical change projects on time and to budget as well as benefits realisation & closure.Demonstrable experience of delivering technology projects in a multi-location and geographically dispersed organisation of a similar size.Proven experience of managing multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities across different streams of work.Have worked within a matrix management environment DesirableExperience of working in a not-for-profit organisation.Creation of standard project templates or resources.Proven leadership of non-direct reports.Demonstrable people management and coaching experience.

Knowledge

Essential

High level of literacy in industry standard project planning tools or platforms, for example, MS Project, Office 365, JIRADemonstrable understanding of technology related subjects e.g. CRM Salesforce, CMS Sitecore, payment transactions, social media channels

Skills and Competencies

Essential

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and a confident communicator and presenter.Highly effective at cross-functional stakeholder management, and a credible contributor to executive team decision-making.Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst keeping all parties updated.Diplomacy skills: The ability to facilitate between stakeholder groups, internal development teams and third-party suppliers, knowing how to make trade-offs.Job OfferA salary of £53,350 plus organisation benefits.We recognise that the world looks a little bit different since the pandemic.
