Java Developer London to £80k

Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer (SpringBoot microservices Hibernate). Are you a technologist Java Developer seeking complex, Greenfield systems to apply your skills?

You could be joining a global Commodities Trading platform and making a real impact.

As a Java Developer you'll design and develop key improvements and new features to the core trading platform with a focus on serverside components. You'll partner with the CTO and play a lead role within a small, highly talented team, allowing you to have influence on key design / architectural decisions. There's a modern technology stack including Java, microservices, RESTful services, Spring, SpringBoot and Hibernate.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; following social distancing you'll join a small, friendly and professional team in South East London for three days a week with the other two working remotely.

Requirements:

You have strong Java design and development experience across the full development lifecycle

You have experience with Spring, SpringBoot, microservices, RESTful services and Hibernate (or other ORM)

You have a strong knowledge of computing fundamentals such as Design Patterns, Object Orientated Programming

You have experience with Unit testing (JUnit), TDD / BDD, Cucumber / Gherkin

You have experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity; Build tools such as Maven and Gradle

You're collaborative with strong communication skills
