A successful multinational Semiconductor company working on state-of-the-art automotive power seeks a Senior Analog/Mixed Signal Verification Engineer for their expanding design centre located in Edinburgh, Scotland. In this role you will be a part of a new verification team which collaborates on Mixed Signal verification of gate-driver ICs and embedded SoCs based on innovative new core architectures. Responsibilities include:Implementation of chip-level mixed signal simulation environmentsProduction of AMS Verification PlanDevelop chip-level self-checking modelsChip top-level verification sign-off ahead of first silicon tapeoutCoordinate verification responsibilities with Digital and Analog Design/Verification teamsMaintenance and continuous improvement of verification methodology, automation and regression controlThe successful Senior Analog/Mixed Signal Verification Engineer will be industry degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position with specific experience in; SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, UVM-MS concepts, scripting knowledge (e.g. Tcl, Python, POSIX shell), Cadence AMS designer (Maestro/CLIPS) and Spectre/APS simulator or Mentor equivalent. Excellent communication skills are required along with a high level of commitment and self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a world-wide development team. You will have a good understanding of Analog and Digital IC Design fundamentals.
