I'm working with a Construction business who are looking for an experienced Data Architect to sit in their new centralised Data function.Client DetailsI'm working with a Construction business who are looking for an experienced Data Architect to sit in their new centralised Data function.DescriptionThe role of the Data Architect is to expand the company's use of data as a strategic enabler of corporate goals and objectives.They will be responsible for development of data models for applications and systems used across the business. These models shall be architected at the following layers: conceptual, logical, business area, and application. This individual will act as the primary advocate of data modelling methodologies and data processing best practices. The Data Architect will strategically design and implement a data platform, including integration with databases, data warehouses and applications. This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, and rolling out a data platform to end users. The Data Architect is also responsible for ensuring high levels of quality on all projects that have a data needs through consultation and advice.Profile3 years work experience as a data or information architect.Hands-on experience with data architecting, data mining, large-scale data modelling, and business requirements gathering/analysis.Direct experience in implementing enterprise data management processes, procedures, and decision support.Hands-on Microsoft based Data Services with database platforms, including Azure Data Lake, SQL, SynapseUnderstanding of Web services (REST, SOAP, XML, UDDI, WSDL).Object oriented programming experience (e.g. using .NET or Java).Job OfferMy client are offering a basic salary of up to £70,000 plus a sizeable bonus!
