Betting Analyst (Graduate / Junior) London to £35k

Betting Analyst / Operative (Junior Mathematics Data Analysis Excel VBA SQL Cricket Betting). Hedge Fund that invests in the sports betting markets is seeking bright, ambitious individuals with a love of cricket to become Betting Analysts within their cricket division.

As a Betting Analyst you will analyse and select the best value bets in the global cricket betting market and use expert analysis of statistical and cricket performance data to find value bets on behalf of clients. You will utilise your knowledge of betting and world cricket to advise clients and build strategies, you'll develop strong working relationships and manage client accounts escalating any issues.

This Betting Analyst role presents an excellent opportunity to embark on an exciting career as part of a highly talented a motivate team. You will be expected to work flexible shifts including weekend and evening work to fit in with the cricket calendar.

They're currently able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home with a view to returning to the office as soon as feasible, with some continued flexibility. When possible you'll be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of North London with in-house gym and steam room, games room with pool tables and dart boards, library and free high quality catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from the onsite chef.

Requirements:

Passion for cricket with a strong knowledge of the sport, bright and highly motivated to succeed

Strong numeracy skills with the ability to do fast mental maths

Knowledge of statistics, Excel VBA, SQL

Good analysis and problem solving abilities

Able to think quickly and work logically under pressure

Collaborative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Degree educated in a numerate subject e.g. Mathematics, Physics
