Job DescriptionMy client are hoping to add a UK Finance Manager to their team. The organisation has an annual turnover of 50 million and are based in central London. They are looking to add a successful Finance Manager to the team who will have 2 direct reports. The Finance manager will report directly to the group Financial Controller. Previous audit experience is required and ideally experience working for one of the big 4 Audit firms. Sage X3 or other large scale ERP experience is required however Sage X3 is preferred. ResponsibilitiesDay to day responsibility for the UK financial accounting processes and controls which would include:Ownership for the revenue reconciliations and accrued revenue calculationsPayroll review, bonus and commission calculationsAccruals Review of balance sheet reconciliationsCompletion of the month end control checklistReview of the UK monthly management accounts with the Group FCManaging the Accounts Payable team, which would include reviewing purchase orders, banking and payment runs prior to Group FC sign offReview and compliance of VAT returnsPreparation of UK statutory accounts and assistance in the UK entity reduction programmeManage the UK external audit relationshipLiaising with the Group's tax advisorsResponsible for preparation of company documentation - National Statistics/PSA/Taxation dataDeveloping and maintaining the UK control environmentAssist the Group FC and Group reporting manager on UK accounting technical matters Keys Skills/Experience:Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)Audit background (ideally in a Big 4 Audit Firm)Industry experience in financial accounting teamConfident using accounting systems such as Sage X3 Strong Excel skillsA hands-on attitude is essential, with a willingness to be involved in all accounting mattersProactive, self - starter, with attention to detailStrong analytical, report writing and communication skills.Able to interact and communicate with finance and non-finance colleaguesA team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to promote good team working and co-operationMust be able to manage your own time and be a highly-organised individualEnthusiastic and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentProfessional work ethicA desire to join a newly listed UK FTSE Group
