My client who is based in Exeter is looking for a Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend.

This role is inside of IR35.

Currently the team are working completely remote but there may be a need eventually to go in the office 2 days per week.

Expected Experience:

* Developed quotes /business cases and ways to avoid

costs

* Advocating and applying technology where it has not

been used previously

* Developed an internal network of strong working

relationships you can call on to assist with your role

* Used knowledge of the business to sell, negotiate or

persuade

* Tackled process/policy obstacles to delivery

* Delivered results when the deliverables were unclear

Skills Required:

ITIL v3 (Foundation)

* Communicating across all levels of an organisation

(from end users to CTO, Police Command Team) and

able to translate complex technical solutions to end

users

* Customer excellence - You own customer issues and

anticipate their needs. You diagnose and resolve

problems on time and coach others to provide

exceptional end-to-end service.

* Product and service knowledge - You continuously

build your understanding of infrastructure, products,

services and complex offerings. You share knowledge

with your team and tailor solutions to meet the unique

needs of the customer.

Have a proven track record of:

* Experience of working in an ISO 20000 accredited

environment.

* Experience of working in an outsourced environment

delivering against defined service scope, targets and

cost.

* Well-developed project management skills with

experience of delivering technical solutions to

Enterprise customers.

* Good communication and inter-personal skills.

* Personal resilience.

* Commercial acumen.

* Strong problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage complexity.

* Ability to work with complete independence /

autonomy.

* Boldness. Ability to remove internal / external barriers.

* Ability to network and form relationships. Expected to

have a good internal network.

* Good stakeholder management skills. Ability to work

with multiple internal and external partners to deliver

great outcomes for our customers and business.

* Negotiation, communication and decision-making skills.

* Contribute to the software development standards.

* Any other duties required to meet the SLA/KPI and

Business Objectives of the Managed Services contract.

* Ability to interpret commercial contracts and identify

area of risk / opportunity.

* Ability to understand and assess risk.

development and mutual support.

* Ability to coach for great performance, including being

able to articulate what fantastic performance looks

like.

* Over 3 years' experience in a project management

environment, delivering IT solutions, preferable in the

Police market. Although. this should not be viewed as

the deciding dimension of this role versus others.

* Experience of delivering a broad range of IT

technology. Ideally this should be in the Police /

security sectors.

* Expected to have attained an advanced project

management qualification - Prince 2 Practitioner or

equivalent.

* Financial tracking and management of a large projects.

* Creating Stakeholder management and Communication

Plans.

* Manging significant risk.

* Knocking down internal barriers and issues that exist in

other parts other business.

* Building and managing teams.

* Experience of producing accurate and timely

management information to support decision making

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
