Are you a Research or Project Engineer with experience in the manufacture of batteries? Are you looking for an immediately available role within a state of the art research centre?

This is a post within a rapidly expanding and world renowned Research and Development department that helps to research and implement cutting edge technology projects predominantly within the automotive sector. Due to continued growth my client is looking for someone to help with their battery scale up project with a particular focus on the manufacture of larger cells.

You will at the very least need knowledge of the process for the manufacture of batteries, the materials and coatings used and some knowledge of the chemistries involved. Previous experience could be in smaller cells such as coin cells or larger cells such as single layer or pouch cells.

You will need a good understanding of electrode development and or battery cell design and manufacture.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any graduate or experienced engineer that has knowledge of Chemistry and the processes involved for the manufacture of batteries.

The Role:

* Research in to the manufacture of batteries

* Battery Scale up projects

* Working with academics as well as industry partners

The Candidate:

* A good understanding of Electrode development or battery cell design or manufacture

* Knowledge or experience of using mixers/coaters/formation cyclers

* Some knowledge in the chemistry involved in battery manufacture
