As an experienced advisor within M&A you will advise the organisation on potential risks for upcoming acquisitions, carrying out due diligence on their current technology. DescriptionAssociate Director - Advisory Consultancy - M&A Your role will be to support and play a key role in undertaking complex M&A Technology assignments within the Financial Advisory Transaction Services division. You will support buy-side, sell-side, IPO and re-financing projects from inception to completion. ResponsibilitiesDraw on your knowledge and experience of IT in business to provide insightful, deal-relevant points of view and recommendations based on robust analysis.Based on the transaction requirement, support client IT leadership team in developing IT Infrastructure technical design, associated business processes, and security monitoring controls; and high-level roadmap and costs estimates to deliver.Support the development of key transaction documentation e.g. IT integration or separation blueprints, Transitional Service Agreements, status reports, Steero reports and papers addressing strategic issuesDeliver high-quality transaction reports and other M&A work productsModel IT integrations and separations, identifying IT synergies, one-off costs and ongoing costs.Provide day to day Programme Management Office support on our engagements, assisting IT workstreams to fulfil their programme objectives and deliverables.Develop your expertise in reporting to senior executives, facilitating large workshops, benefits tracking, change control and stakeholder management.Develop your consulting skills in strategic thinking, programme and change management.Take ownership for quality and risk management, ensuring that all client work is delivered consistently complying with expected levels of company quality and risk rules and guidelines.Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.ProfileAssociate Director - Advisory Consultancy - M&A Your professional experience Essential:Deep knowledge and proven experience of IT infrastructure and application architectures, within industry, consulting or professional services environment.Strong solution design and architecture skills.Proven project management and senior stakeholder management skills.Demonstrable understanding of key financial concepts, and experience of IT cost estimation and modelling of IT cost-bases.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.Strong team leadership skills, especially teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, with proven ability to lead and develop juniors.Experience of delivering high-quality reports and presentations.Full travel mobility. Desirable:Experience of the M&A lifecycle, including writing and reviewing IT Due Diligence and post-merger integration or separation plans.Experience of change management and transformation initiatives e.g. technology or business process change programmes.Experience of working within large or complex, cross-border Private Equity or Corporate transactions. Desirable TechnicalTrack record of developing or implementing target IT operating models.Experience of sizing and costing IT infrastructure, networking and cyber environmentUnderstanding of Enterprise IT Lifecycle Management, recharging & cost managementExperience in the design & deployment Cloud hosted services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across various platforms ( AWS, Azure, Google) Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Collaboration tools, Microsoft Security Practices, Microsoft technologies architecture and integration of core infrastructure technologies.Expertise in cyber security with a good understanding of cyber security threats and the associated technology and business implicationsKnowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, etc.Understanding of architecture and implementation of identity & access and privilege management across a large-scale organisation.Information Security/Cyber Security and Network security experience Job OfferAssociate Director - Advisory Consultancy - M&A An excellent package, at market rate, is available depending on experience coming into this position.
