The Infrastructure Manager will ensure all elements of the IT Infrastructure meet the business continuity disaster recovery and service level agreements. You will also manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure components.Client DetailsMichael Page are delighted to be partnered with an market leading client in the education sector, to support on the recruitment of a Infrastructure Manager.DescriptionWhat you'll be doing?The Infrastructure Manager will ensure all elements of the IT Infrastructure meet the business continuity disaster recovery and service level agreements. You will also manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure components.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Service Delivery Manager in major incident processes and ensure repeat incidents do not occur.Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure components and workload.Identify opportunities for business process optimisation and reducing the cost of "business as usual services" via a continual service improvement programme that focuses on automation or self-service.Liaise with the Head of IT and third parties for the implementation of infrastructural designs and solutions.Provide support to and deputise for the Head of IT Services / other managers and leaders when required.Support, consult, and communicate with all stakeholders, including senior colleagues and customers, regarding IT Services delivery and relevant activities / issues.Lead internal teams and those provided by third party suppliers, providing strategic direction and guidance to services delivered. ProfileKey Skills & Experience:Five or more years working in a senior or consultancy support role.Ability to train, develop and motivate support teams with IT leadership.Ability to manage numerous large-scale projects.Strong Networking knowledge - Switching, Routing, Firewall provision, Wireless networks.Technical qualifications to include MSCE and CCNAITIL Foundation certificationAbility to learn new skills and adapt to challenging environmentsConfident, clear and differentiated written / verbal communication to stakeholders at all levelsDesirable:Working within the public sector, specifically within an educational environment, at any levelCITPCCNPScrum Master Job OfferSalary:£51,000 - £53,000
