This company are expanding beyond Oil & Gas and looking to create technology to unlock access to sustainable energy for all.The Project Cost Analyst works closely with the project team providing detailed cost performance information against the awarded scope of work throughout the lifecycle of the project. Facilitating margin optimisation through cost control, Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasting, timely visibility of incurred cost, & adherence to the Management of Change (MOC) process.Your Responsibilities: Break out the budget for the packages / system in enough detail so that the execution team is clear on what their budget is for key procurement cost drivers
Develop Day 1 Budget scope for handover to Project Controller/AccountantAssist in project set-up including:Reconcile tender cost estimates to 'As Awarded Contract'Assist Project Controller/Accountant & Shared Services in mapping CBS to SAP WBSSupport Project Controller/Accountant with set-up of cost capture mechanism to facilitate cost monitoring/ control (including Add on Orders, CATS, etc.) What they are looking for:Strong analytical & problem-solving ability essential
Experience in cost management/estimation preferred
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills capable of efficiently manipulating large sets of data & producing a suite of reports essentialStrong time management & organisational skills essential
Must be motivated & self-driven; able to work independently & in a team environment
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment to meet tight deadlines essentialExperience of SAP computer system (or equivalent) preferred
