Senior Security Consultant - Inside Ir35

A Senior Security Consultant (SC cleared is required for an initial 6 month contract. The work will be remote with some on site in Croydon. Please note that this role is inside IR35 and will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company.

Essential Skills and Experience

-Experience of working in alignment with HMG accreditation and security frameworks:

o Identification of appropriate security controls based on evaluation of business requirements and policy assessment

oRisk assessments

oScoping and commissioning IT Health Checks (Pen testing)

oParticipation and management of Security Working Groups

-Identification and design of security controls for cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)

-Identification and design of security controls for digital solutions, particularly including citizen facing services and internal data platforms holding sensitive / personal information

-Detailed knowledge of HMG / NCSC security standards and guidance

-Experience of working in environments with elevated security posture

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
