This role is responsible for designing, building and maintaining a robust hybrid cloud environment here at Sage, identifying migration and automation opportunities within our hybrid estate and to support our global technology team with cloud, Infrastructure and DevOps projects and initiatives. Essential job funcations and responsabilties Build, monitor, and maintain Sage's hybrid cloud infrastructure. Architect infrastructure solutions for scale, resiliency, reliability, security, and performance in Microsoft Azure Perform Microsoft Azure cloud governance, cost management and optimization. Perform cloud-native deployment using DevOps and/or DevSecOps. Manage container solutions and orchestration within Microsoft Azure. Establish implementation standards and methods such as configuration and change management for cloud deployment. Implementing cloud Security controls, tools and standards. Implement and manage cloud backup and disaster recovery solutions. Design and support complex, 24x7 mission-critical solutions on-premises and Azure. Develop platform comparisons, conduct market research and contribute towards Sage's technical roadmap for future cloud implementations. Contribute and coordinate towards migrating on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure. Train internal Infrastructure team members in the day-to-day operational support duties related to cloud infrastructure. Qulaifications and Educations Strong demonstratable work experience within IT infrastructure implementation and management. Strong demonstratable experience implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure, i.e.Azure virtual machines, scaling and availability Azure storage, availability and key vaults Azure networking, load balancing and security Application and Identity Management i.e. Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Azure applications, security principles and certificates Transforming on-premises workloads to Azure including Database services Cloud infrastructure monitoring and automation Backup, recovery and disaster recovery design experience Comfortable with PowerShell scripting Hands on experience implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform or ARM templates Hands on experience implementing application, infrastructure and maintenance DevOps tasks.
