You will be experienced in project managing multi-disciplined teams to effectively deliver Large (>£5Mn) complex digital technology and strategic business change projects / programmes.Client DetailsGovernment body based in NewportDescriptionAs a senior project manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of complex digital services. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

* Project/programme delivery. Accountable for leading project(s)/ programme workstreams to ensure delivery of the agreed outcomes with the specified time, cost and quality.

* Project Management. Day to day management of the project team(s) ensuring:

- Appropriate governance structures / escalation routes are in place and adhered to

- Teams are resourced, motivated to deliver and focussed on what is most important

- Monitoring and reporting project performance in line with IPO project governance and review structure

- Ownership of change control relating to allocated projects and adherence to the change process

* Project / programme planning. Creating a robust and detailed project plan and maintaining the plan throughout the lifecycle of the project

* Stakeholder management. Identify and manage collaborative internal / external stakeholder relationships, successfully managing engagement and communications to ensure buy-in, bringing in senior level support when required

* Advanced Risk, Issue and opportunity Management skills: Identify, monitor and proactively manage project risks, issues and opportunities throughout the life of the project
