Job title - Regulatory Programme Manager Location - London / Remote Rate - £600 p/day via PAYE or £769.92 Umbrella Start date - ASAPContract - 12 months Our financial services client is currently seeking an experienced Regulatory Programme Manager to join their team in the London office/remote working, this contract will be a 12-month contract. Business Overview:Wholesale Client Services brings together client onboarding functions to operate as one single organisation with a view to provide full E2E client onboarding and client service support covering the entire client lifecycle for all product areas across the Wholesale Bank globally. This organisation brings together Client Lifecycle Management, Client Onboarding, Credit Analysis, Regulatory Business Support and Exits teams under a single unit. The Wholesale Client Services Teams work closely with both the RMs and other key functions/product areas to ensure the operational management of client lifecycle events is independently managed with all the downstream functions while meeting the required client due diligence, global standards and regulatory requirements. This will be achieved through strong discipline on costs, operational risk & control management and strong client and service orientation. The Regulatory Business Support (RBS) team offers client and business support for all regulations on behalf the Wholesale Bank including client outreach, implementing new processes, ongoing assurance and owning accurate regulatory classifications. The strategic system/product for RBS is the Regulatory Data Service (RDS) and there is a multi-year transformation programme to build out this platform as part of the wider Wholesale Client Services digital strategy. Role PurposeThe Regulatory Programme Manager is responsible for delivering the regulatory transformation programme to support the RBS business strategy and outcomes which includes the development of the RDS strategic platform, as per the defined long-term vision, strategy and roadmap. Duties include:Planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring the progress, working closely with RDS Product Owner to agree priorities and plans for executionSingle point of contact for the regulatory transformation programme for the portfolio lead, RBS sponsor and other key stakeholdersLead end to end delivery of regulatory initiatives including change the bank (CTB) and maintain the bank (MTB) book of workPlan and coordinate activities across multiple team, and work with Business and Technology teams for detailed project planningEnsure alignment of regulatory programme plans to Wholesale Client Services new-to-bank and existing-to-bank journeys, for integration of RBS and RDS into the end-to-end solutions, where relevantEnsure effective quality assurance and overall integrity of the programmeManage risks, issues and dependencies and ensure timely escalation for resolutionFacilitate appointment of individuals and allocation of resources and skills within the programme's individual projectsManage the programme's budget, prepare funding proposal, monitor expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progressesPreparing and maintaining schedules for programme activities and event Knowledge & Experience / QualificationsStrong programme management experience preferably in an international investment banking settingExperience managing global teams and strong teamworking skills, ability to build and maintain good relationships with team members and stakeholders alikeProven track record of working in a change environment, understanding transformation principles and working knowledge of Software Development LifecycleStrong organisational, planning and management skillsStrong risk and control mindset, with appropriate commercial focusEffective leadership.
